Sorry I've been so ridiculously busy, no time for any real updates.
Mostly all taking care of the kids (read: Kid / Puppy / boyfriend and occasional babysitting) 6 days of work, 3 of them double shifts. Out of the house from 8am until maybe 2 am with a teenie occasional 2 hour break in the middle to take the puppy out and maybe shower. Not to mention cooking / cleaning / and all that other fun stuff. And Diablo 3, usually when I get home at 2 in the morning. Regrets the next day? I think so
That being said the graphic novel project is progressing quite nicely. (mostly because my writer comes to see me at my evening job) After spending over a month brainstorming together, we finally have a workable read of the story. He presented me with the text for the first book last week and I must say I am quite excited to draw it. Most of my major characters are sketched. I expect that in the coming weeks I will be both sketching out the first book as well as a variety of key locations.
I don't want to spoil anything just yet so I can't guarantee I will be posting too much information anytime soon but you might expect some sketches of the city.
I'm going to try and concentrate any real free time I have on getting this done because I think that if we do it right, it might just be really cool.
For the record, right now we don't have a title (not even a working one) or a city name (I call it Littletown, Nowheresville although I don't think that's accurate), our 2 main characters still need last names and a few of the characters coming after book one also need to be named. But that's about all the stalling we've done on it so far.
So, wish us luck and hopefully I will be able to post some awesome sketches of all that stuff soon.
